Have you been putting off that kitchen de-cluttering? Procrastinating because you don't know where to start? Let us help in 5 simple steps.
1) Set an achievable time frame.
2) Break the task into manageable steps. Try targetting certain cupboards at a time; staging the clean out of old goods or tossing what you haven't needed in a year.
3) Identify what space saving storage items you will source to solve space problems for cupboards, drawers, pantry and fridge. (They could be simple, cheap trays from a supermarket or purpose built storage solutions.)
4) Order your remaining items in an easily accessible way that will make it easier to keep your storage areas under control. Remember to store things near where you use them.
5) Once done, make it a learned habit to think about where you place things each day to avoid the clutter re-building.

I was thrilled to read these great Tips To Live By when author and organiser Lissanne Oliver of Sorted! recently sprouted them.
Maybe I don't have to feel so bad about not folding undies after all - I feel 10 minutes richer.
1. Don't put it down, put it away. 2. One hour LESS screen time EQUALS one hour MORE sorting time. 3. 10 minutes folding your undies is 10 minutes you'll never get back. 4. Mess is fine. Neglect is not. 5. A little bit of work now for a lotta lazy later on. 6. Put a note in your purse: "I am saving money by not spending it." 7. Never bring anything into your space that you do not already have a home for. 8. Practice The Snowdome Rule: one in, two out. 9. Make friends with your bin! 10. "Talk doesn't cook rice" Chinese Proverb.
